Jojo is a lamp that is wound with a cord and emits a warm light. Within a short time, the light dims and goes out. The playful interaction of pulling to switch on the light is reminiscent of a yo-yo (or Jojo in German) and gives the lamp its shape and name. Jojo works analogously and intuitively and is intended to promote a balanced relationship with technology. Furthermore, this project is about the tactile interaction with the object and an awareness of energy consumption.
