Superwood is a new material made from recycled wood combined with lactic acid. The basis for this is  historical glue made of casein, which is mixed with the wood fiber and pressed into a plate. The result is delicately marbled surfaces, which are characterized by a matt material aesthetics and extraordinary stability. Vegetable pigments such as the

fast-growing spirulina algae produce a bright blue color in various nuances. By using recycled wood, the project contributes to a closed loop in the furniture industry.
