Superwood is a new material made of wood combined with casein. The basis for this is historical glue made of casein, which is mixed with the wood fiber and pressed into a plate. The results are delicately marbled surfaces, which are characterized by a matt material aesthetics and extraordinary stability. By using lactic acid as glue, the material is entirely made of natural components and thus recyclable.
